The Jack & Mary Lou Davis STEM TECH (Test and Evaluation Collaboration Hub) Lab is hosting an open house! The STEM TECH lab uses high tech simulators and other technology to teach STEM concepts to students of all ages. Come and learn how the STEM Outreach Center staff has been working to promote student interest in STEM related topics throughout southern New Mexico. Since the lab opened in 2017, hundreds of students have been positively impacted by its outreach programming. During this open house, participants will engage in a hands-on presentation. Explore the high tech flight simulator software, and learn how to fly and run simulated missions. The new Zspace technology uses augmented and virtual reality experiences to teach hundreds of STEM topics. Be completely immersed in a virtual reality trip to the International Space Station with the Oculus.
