Graduate Students – NMSU is making great strides in connecting water researchers with resources, collaborators, and the community. Please submit an abstract about your water research so that NMSU Water Initiative participants can learn about current water research taking place throughout NMSU. We encourage any interested graduate students to submit abstracts for posters on any water-related research topic. All accepted abstracts will be posted on the NMSU Water Initiative website and published in the event handout. If you submit an abstract, please plan to bring a poster that illustrates your water-related research. If you did not submit an abstract for the NMSU Research and Creativity Week poster session you can still participate in Research and Creativity Week by presenting your research and poster at the Water Initiative Event.

The NMSU Water Initiative is a project to enhance NMSU’s efforts concerning water. The goal is to better position NMSU’s resources in order to build alliances with the community, communicate with stakeholders more effectively, and keep agriculture and industry successful in New Mexico. The NMSU Water Initiative provides connections to resources for enhancing research applications, hosts networking events that foster collaboration, and hosts forums that help define the research needs of the local community.
